Downtown Longmont’s new format for turning on the holiday lights, on Saturday, November 21. A fire pit and hot cocoa at the Roosevelt Park Ice Pavilion from 4 to 6 pm, then Santa and a cast of holiday characters light Roosevelt Park at 5:30, lead a stroll to light the tree at the 6th Avenue Plaza at 6, and finish at St. Stephen’s Plaza at 6:30. The Downtown Longmont page lists no admission charge.
