Native American Art Auction

A two-day sale of Southwest Native American art, conducted by Payne Auction Co. of Bloomfield, New Mexico, and Niwot Auction of Longmont, in Barn A at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. The auction starts at 10 am on Saturday 24 October and 11 am on Sunday 25 October; the preview runs from 8 am Saturday and 10 am Sunday until sale time, and the County’s calendar has the barn booked until 4 pm both days. Lots include pueblo pottery from Santa Clara, San Ildefonso, Jemez, Acoma, Zia and Hopi, more than 100 Navajo weavings, Zuni, Hopi and Navajo jewelry, Hopi and Navajo kachinas, baskets, paintings and prints, among them the David Menges estate of Arvada. A 5 percent buyer’s premium is added; payment is due on the day of sale by cash, credit card or check with ID.
