Longmont Museum

The City of Longmont's museum of art and history, reopening its galleries Oct. 17 after an expansion the City says adds 70% more gallery space.

The City-run museum’s collection includes more than 17,000 objects and 10,000 photographs relating to Longmont and the St. Vrain Valley. A nearly $10 million expansion added gallery space, hands-on experiences and places to gather; a Frida Kahlo exhibition and a new hands-on children’s gallery, DreamLab, are announced for the reopening. It also hosts concerts, films, talks and classes for adults and children.
