Union Reservoir Nature Area

A 736-acre reservoir east of Longmont with wakeless boating, paddleboarding, fishing, a swim beach and a year-round dog beach.

The 736-acre reservoir offers wakeless boating, paddleboarding, fishing for all ages with a fishing pier, picnic shelters, a playground and sand volleyball. The City says the people swim beach is closed for the season while the dog beach stays open year-round, and there is no water access Dec 1–Feb 28. Entry is $10 per vehicle per day ($15 on summer weekends and holidays) plus $5 per watercraft, and the Colorado State Parks Pass is not accepted.
